Quick start: ready in 5 minutes

In short: go through seven short steps. Each takes a minute or less.

Steps

Check recording. Open “Settings → RecUmi Calls readiness” and make sure everything says “Done”. See “How to check that recording works”.
Make a test call. Call someone for a few seconds. This happens outside the app: the recording shows up in the log after the call.
Open the recording. Tap the call in the log and tap “Play”.
Add a bookmark. While listening, tap “Bookmark” and write something like “price” or “address”.
Find the call. Tap the search icon in the log and type a name or number.
Protect a recording. In “Settings → Protected recordings” set a PIN, then protect a recording.
Save a backup. In “Settings → Backups” create a backup in one file.

The “Open in the app” button below takes you to the first step.

What happens

You will see whether your phone is ready to record and get to know the main actions. Recordings and transcripts are not sent anywhere.

Tip

If something says “Needed” at step 1, tap the button next to it and follow the system prompt.
